For many engineers, injection molding simulation is initially an unknown quantity. Often, they deal much more intensively with metals than with plastics. We want to show that every engineer and designer is capable of mastering injection molding and its special processes, the material-technical background, as well as the simulation of this, in the eyes of many, complicated subject area.

Basics
To get started, we have developed trainings that can be useful for any profession within component development. First, there are the Basic user trainings – no simple click trainings where you have to google half of the content a week later – but intensive knowledge transfer characterized by repetitions and independent tasks.
With the help of these maximum 3-day trainings you are able to create great added value in the development chain – in case of questions after the training our support hotline is available for 1 month, afterwards the MFS Premium Support will have to be booked.

Extended Functions
The basic training courses provide users with everything they need for classic injection molding simulations. In addition, we have developed further training courses to deepen the simulation knowledge of Moldflow users in individual special areas, including the area of shrinkage and warpage, cooling, multiple components and Design of Experiments. We refer to these training courses as Advanced Functions. You can book them by the day, or at a reduced rate as a 3, 4 or 5 day package, as the training series always takes place contiguously in one calendar week – as shown in the training calendar.
In our DoE training, for example, we show how to handle statistical design of experiments in Moldflow. Here we deal not only with Design of Experiments, but also with Parametric Studies. With the help of the training, users are able to include statistical design of experiments in their daily work in order to generate further savings potentials.

Special Processes
Depending on the processes used in the company, standard injection molding or even 2K molds are no longer sufficient. For all the special processes that can be simulated with Moldflow, we have compiled a selection of training courses below that further deepen knowledge and make all simulation methods available. These include the gas injection process, injection-compression molding, MuCell & other foaming methods and also reactive molding compounds. This series of training courses can also be booked together at a discount for 3, 4 or 5 days, as all training days (except the Advanced Gating training) take up one calendar week (training calendar).
In addition, on Day 4 of the Special Processes training courses, we offer an in-depth day in materials knowledge that is not available anywhere else. In the materials training course, you will learn all the variables influencing measurement methods and material parameters on injection molding simulation results. You will learn what to look out for in plausibility checks and when to trust simulation results.

Basics and Interpretation Training
The basics and interpretation training courses can be of interest to anyone involved in injection molding projects. Here we offer basic plastics technology fundamentals to teach both materials science, process science and frequently occurring problems.
The interpretation training courses not only help Moldflow users to interpret results correctly and draw the right conclusions from them, but also help to ensure that all people in the company who are confronted with Moldflow results can derive added value from these results. This also ensures that a uniform language is spoken in the plant.
Project coaching is particularly useful for problematic customer projects where troubleshooting may be required. Here, we provide you with our experienced project engineers, who help you to work on a specific project together in Moldflow, to analyze and optimize it. As a user, you will be optimally prepared for your projects, and at the same time you will be advised on an existing project.
